This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Baby Name Generator mobile application (the "App") handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

The App is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require you to create an account, and the content you create (such as saved names, notes, journal entries and your due date) is stored locally on your device. The App uses third-party services for AI name generation and advertising, which may process limited technical data as described below.

This information is stored locally on your device using the device's local storage and is not transmitted to us, except that generation requests (e.g. selected gender, origin and due date filters) are sent to the AI service to produce name suggestions.

Our advertising partners (including Google AdMob) and our AI gateway provider may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:

• device and advertising identifiers;
• approximate location/region (derived from IP address);
• device type, operating system and app version;
• ad interaction and diagnostic data.

3. How Information Is Used

• to generate and display personalised baby-name suggestions;
• to store your shortlists, preferences and notes on your device;
• to schedule and deliver local notifications you have enabled;
• to display advertising that keeps the App free;
• to maintain, secure and improve the App.

4. AI Name Generation

When you request names or use the AI advisor, the relevant filter inputs or chat messages are sent over an encrypted connection to a third-party AI gateway to generate a response. You should avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI features. If the AI service is unavailable, the App falls back to an offline, on-device name database.

5. Advertising

The App is supported by advertising, including banner, interstitial, native, rewarded and app-open ads served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob. These networks may use device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted.

6. Local Storage and Data Retention

Your User Content and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the App. We do not maintain a copy of this information on our servers.

If you enable notifications, the App schedules local reminders (for example, weekly name unlocks and pregnancy milestones) on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device settings.

8. Permissions

• Internet — for AI generation, advertising and remote configuration;
• Notifications — to deliver reminders you have enabled;
• Receive boot completed — to restore scheduled reminders after a device restart;
• Vibrate — for notification alerts;
• Photos / media access — only when you choose an image for the photo-overlay or wallpaper features.

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party service providers described in this Policy (AI gateway and advertising networks) solely to provide their respective functions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for expectant parents and a general adult audience. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
